mmcwales/p_clap.gif A big thank you to all that took part on the last test day, it was a great atmosphere and from my point of view and the staffs, the day was a great success. mmcwales/p_clap.gif

little mark and scotty did well to biggrin.gif , was a laugh in the lodge to laugh.gif

Jazz, For me its 1.5hrs driving instead of 4hrs, £30 instead of £77 and even though Wilton is 2 days there is more track time at Llandow. Going to support the local track, hoping we can get more time there.
If there was someone waving a flag at the start of the session with supers on the front row, proddies on second etc it wouldn't be a mile away.
Whilton was a great weekend though, awesome track/weather, good company.
Learnt a few things:
Racing an aircooled when your heavy and slow is a lonely business.
A bike is only 1 second faster if you have the tyres around the right way (like front on the front etc numpty!!!)
4 stroke bikes drop oil all over the track!
Grass tracking on slicks ain't fun (especially jumping 6" down and up accross an access road)
When you get older you can't take your brain out as easy as when you were 17 or 10!
Minimotos are faster than you think 36.6mph average lap speed for me, over 40mph for proddies like James. Cheers Scotty

Speed will come mukka, its just a learning curve, all im after is a little fun, and i get plenty of that for me cash smile.gif

Darren, last time was a great laugh. At one point there must have been about 5 a breast going into the last hairpin. Stick some reeds in that 4.2 and a proddy pipe on and we'll have more fun! I can't stay with your other bikes.
Jaz, I have taken the micky a bit lately so will give it a rest until Llandow. I can't make Sunday anyway but will get the kids to a few Fridays soon.
Lee, It is a lot easier on a decent bike, the first time I was on a polini 910 (smallest bike in the world!) and couldn't stop my feet rubbing. Keep the bike mate, if there are more Llandow days its right on your door step. If you do want to sell the tyres and are going, can you bring them with you?
Going to get my boots sewn up, found a shop in Maindee Newport to add some more leather to the outsides for £5 each. Will be there. Cheers Scotty
