well what can i say a fantastic weekend and what an experiance for the kids a 106 70s and 60 odd pre 125s with some seriosly quick riders all our boys did very well considering the first time for most of them on a full size gp circuit.
Jason douglas and Greg James both in the b final on pre 125s and Jason rode his socks off to nearly steal first on the line an outstanding ride from a very quick and gifted rider,not sure where Greg finished but rode very well for first time on bike.
In the 70s Harry coomer,Niall campbell and Scott james all qualified for the b final with a grid of 44 Niall did exceptionly well to finish 7th being quite a bit bigger than most other riders Harry and Scott where both going well until an unfortunate collision going into turn 2 Harry having to retire and Scott getting back on track but in last place but still managed to finish .
Brad and Kyle both managed to get into a final Brad 20th row 5 and Kyle 36th row 9, Brad got a flying start and was 12th into first turn and fought hard for the whole 8 laps and managed to finish a creditable 8th knocking 4 seconds off his quallifying time kyle got a good start but got boxed in at turn 1 and came out last but fought hard to finish in 34th.
All in all a very good weekend and a real eye opener as to the standard of racing in spain and where our kids are against them considering they ride these tracks regularly and been on the bikes all year the boys did exceptionly well.
Bring on next year can see me doing a few trips to spain as Brad loved it and cann't wait to have another go at them.

Ye. wicked weekend! qualified crap (33rd/44 riders) but had a good warm up session in the morning and i was really up for the race. not the best of starts but by first corner i got up to 20th. made up a good few places in the 1st lap and started to catch harry who was at the back of the leading pack. within half a lap (which was a big space of time if u see how big the track was!) i was on harrys tail. i managed to pass him on 5th corner and make it right up to 10th. anyway 1lap later harry fights back and passes me up the inside going into first corner. as i tried to pass back at next corner, there was a really uncomfortable number of riders all wanting the racing line. unfortinatly it was me and harry who come out worst off!( but what made it a little less depressing was that it was the famous 2nd corner where valentino binned it last year lol ) but i still managed to get back on and NOT! finish last. lol

have got some pics of my other crash in 2nd qualifying which i will put up shortly

unlucky mate, these things happen,
dw bout it u will do much better next year and seeing as u havent been riding your metrakit for really longu did really well anyway so u will do much better next year mate
