Idealy Jazz you should set your clutch bite to be just before your powerband, as for springs peeps say use yellow for lights, blue for medium, red for heavy weights. "BZM"
or start with yellows, if you find you cant adjust them up to the correct bite, without compresing almost all the spring, "need to leave something there for it to swing out" then you need to use the Blue springs, if thats ok but you get bounce or slip, you can weight them, to give it just that little more bang when it kicks in, and to keep it in.
but this all depends on track to you have to remember on a tight small track you would be running shorter gearing, so alot less strain on the clutch, on long tracks, running tall gearing, it puts more strain on the clutch.
Only thing i can say is always keep an eye on your clutch and make sure you bed them in tidy.
i learnt the hard way £220 of clutches, 2 chains, 1 front pinion and 1 rear sproket and a rear hub in 1 day. with no points scored at all, all rounds DNF so lost me a possible 3rd overhall in Supers at the British also. now that was an expensive weekend, never mind the headache haha.

kk thanks mate i might adjust it out cuz i have got yellow springs in now but it is taking at about 6000rpm so i might adjust it to take at about 7 and a half.....i have got t41's and juniors so while im at work sunday my dad will put the right tyres on depending on weather.... juniors should perform alright in the damp dont u think??? might have to run them on a lower pressure.... but i got t41's so if its dry it should be awesome... cant wait now only a few days lol... cheers jazz
