James, having only been to Whilton twice have seen it done both ways. When its the winter champs didn't they split the metrakits and pitbikes up. and for the fun day run them together although there were both junior and senior sessions. This also applied to the minimotos as below. Junior minimoto Senior minimoto Junior gearbox senior gearbox The first hour it is more mixed up until they have a final count for the day and work something out. However 10 mins on and 30mins off is not the best if you only have a minimoto and can't ride in a second class. The pit bike juniors were not allowed in with the adults on a safety basis (not sure why, supose the crashes are worse than minimoto). As for the minimotos most of the juniors fly along and would be fine with the adults. May be different if there are loads of new youngsters. There were no pit bikes last time I went to Llandow and being as it was my first time ever on a track, the metrakits on with minimotos seemed fine. So if no pit bikes then 100% availability for all would be ace (if no karts). If there are pit bikes then why not mix the gearbox bikes together as Darren said and let the minimotos go alone, so 50% access. You would have to sort on the day if pitbikes were allowed in. There would only be about 2 weeks to prebook from now if the deadline is a week before so they would need to know soon or could this be relaxed as it isn't going to get cancelled. Cheers Scotty

Hi guys main peeps who attend Llandow run minimotos in the past, with the interest from else ware “i.e. outside Wales” the numbers still say minimotos, but there are allot more peeps with Metrakit/Conti “road” and pit bikes “motard”.
Minimoto is simple on a track day, junior and senior, only problem there is numbers on the track, and to account for new slow riders “wobblers”.
Road and motard dependant on numbers run together, if split do it as Minimoto, junior, senior.
Say £10 extra to-do both classes, Minimoto and gearbox or vice versa.
There should be a briefing before it all kicks off, just a shout out in the paddock saying, no riding bikes in paddock or to the track. If peeps want to be on track to watch their kids, take photos etc, they need to get hi viz vest beforehand.
All wobblers need to wear a hi viz vest, armband or something to stand out so other riders can see and know to take care, as we all know they tend to try and get out your way when they hear you coming and more often than not they move into the path of someone racing with you who they didn’t hear, whether it be in the juniors or the seniors, it should be done...
Well that my thoughts anyway.

yeh thanks paul.
Im not sure, 3 sessions could bring alot more riders to llandow circuit on the 10th Feb. Although we might be jumping into things, as we been upset on how the mojority of the past minimoto days we've had. Could make sure everything is well organised and have a succesfull day with no moans.
I would like metrikits/pitbikes come down, give everyone a excuse to have a break. Think we should get all the minimotos sorted, as we still trying to build the minimoto reputation/ numbers up.
After the day. The meeting will give us a good chance also to talk about how the day was like, how successful, organised the day was. Next trackday we know what we getting into. Split sessions
Eg: Minimotos Metrikits Pitbikes
Just my thoughts
see you soon.
