meecham- 10-08-2007
all that has been sed is harsh but true
pablo you have made a mistake you would have had 15 easily
and has already been sed why not say a non returnable £10 to prebook ??
it is you that has lost alot of money from this weekend and lost alot of ....respect from the riders(rong word) we do aprreciat it but u wer neva going to get 15 pre paid be honest!!

declan- 10-08-2007
well ithin it was sad cause the deadline was on sunday, and i went to prebook and the women sed that saterday was the last day to prebook and she sed that they wanted 50 not 15 riders so then my mum just hung up!

but on the other hand havin like £10 or £15 deposite is a great idea.

Ok Guy's,

1st and foremost, LYN in the office did not say 50 riders, and that is fact, secondly i have spoke to the circuit manager tonight (Nigel) and he said;

If there are 15 riders pre-paid by Wed 5pm the Sunday will go ahead, but this is the last time to pre-pay.

15 PRE-PAID RIDERS by 5pm WEDNESDAY 10th OCTOBER 2007 and the day will go ahead.

The problem we have guy's is that you don't understand or don't want to understand, when we booked the last day for you in lovely sunshine you had 6 riders and we sent away 8 karters on the day and cancelled approx 12 karters because the circuit was closed for karters and only open for Mini-Moto's only.

As regards to waiting on the day to see if the weather is Ok before we turn up and not waste money, well what can i say.

What you are saying is; please cancel all karters that pay £45 each per day testing and book the day for Mini-Moto's and then when the day comes around and they don't turn up and we still have the staff to pay, the rent to pay the insurance to pay etc, and no karters because we cancelled them for the Mini-moto's.

Spanners (Steve), As a business man are you saying, forget about 15 to 25 karters at between £35 and £45 per head and take a chance on 7 pre-paid Mini-Moto's @ £30 per head and possibly a few more if the weather good, does this make good business sense to you, when we will still have to pay the bills no matter how many people turn up.

The karters turn up rain or shine.

The circuit has spent over £100.000 in the past 18 months to improve the facilities at Llandow and all you guy's do is think of yourselves when we are trying to help, but what else can we do.

If we don't make money the track won't be there for you or others to use anyway, or is that what you want?

What Llandow are saying is they are not prepared now to go back to mixing us with the karts after we moaned for a mini moto only track day, however we did not say all the time just be nice once a month like.

And as far as pre booking they are not prepared to take the risk of giving us the track, and then peeps dont turn up "ie its raining" thats why its full monies up front or nowt, this was made clear by Paul right from the start, after being let down for much of the same reasons.

I myself am gutted as i been off my bike for so long it was a chance to get back on it before the last round of the british, rain or shine i was going to be there after all the shite we have had from Llandow over the years, this was down to us "and maybe the optomistic 15 prepaid"

But as we know this would have been no prob on the day as the weather was to be fine i used a 10 day forcast weather report on line last week to have a rough idea.

We all new the only way to win with Llandow was to play there game, but yes they do keep moving the goal posts little by little, instead of giving us a chance to build up the numbers.

Take it easy peeps.

there u go Pablo responded as i was writing mine, get down to Llandow peeps, get pre paying asap. its up to us guys...

sorry to hear maybe a no go.
not trying to tell anyone how to run a buisness or anything.back in the old days at llandow u still had the whole day but in like 30 minute sessions i do think that this was a good idea because all the bikes went out together all karters went out etc, etc.
if u had a problem u had time to fix it before next dabble started.then like i say there were like 10 out all together easier going on the old body too.lol.
and surely if the karters get every event and the bikes get put on the back burner how long will it be before the karters cant afford every track day there and every event on the calender.
a lot of the track days seem to be very close or even on the mini moto race calender dates, the club has a lot of members i agree it would be a shame for us baby bikers not to be able to have days at llandow.but i do say a buisness is a risk and a lot of the time risks pay off, mini moto sales are high at present after a massive drop after people who rode them around the streets helped put a mokker on these so called dangerous un-road worthy machines.
this track needs more advertising to get more users but people dont need to be told this might go ahead but it might not.
i have already posted the track details on a few other websites that inform people about gp3's and origami's(reps of course).u never know may get a few more interested. mmcwales/p_thanx.gif hope it still happens i be there but cant pre book

speedy1- 10-09-2007
