next race?

hi guys, when is the next race day? and what do i need to actually race? i have nothing except skin and bone and cant afford anything else, so if i need anything else, could i borrow??? lol

I think the next one is at Llandow, and I think it is a week sunday, or maybe this Sunday, not sure, I will be going I think. but mainly to watch, and have a go on crazy carver's bike

But the person I work for used to race 600's and he's passing on one of his unused suits to me, so I think (depending on how big you are) I should have a jacket and some knee pads you can borrow, and maybe even gloves and boots when I'm not using them, helmet's aren't expensive, nor are gloves try e-bay and try persuading the parents, or holding on and saving some more money.

That's the best I can do, also, you'll need some sturdy boots, but don't use steel toe caps, as they can get bent when you come off and trap your toes, or chop 'em off!!!!

thanks for that mate. im between 6'2 and 6'4 (yes i know i prob look silly on a minibike lol). i got some cheap walking boots they any good? i cant afford a helmet at the mo cos im unemployed. im 25 now so i dont think the parents will let me borrow money for one

Llandow will not allow you on the track unless you are wareing the appropriate saftey gear.

I think my jacket may be little too small, lol, I'm 5'4-5. But the pads are no problem you can lend them. You'll need some gloves, decent ones, coz if you go down you don't put your head on the floor (don't know why seening as it has the most protection, anyways) but cheapy ones I think will be ok, you just won't get many slides outta them. You'll need some kind of jacket or something. Don't know what they will allow, you might just have to pad up. And they might be able to lend you a helmet if worst comes to worse.
