well the final round is here and to be honest i havnt been out as much as i would have liked but due to changing classes and then not being old enough to ride mmra its messed things up. so next year i am going to prepay for all 8/9 rounds so i wont have an excuse.
i turned 16 yesterday so am now old enough to ride so i am going to llandow this weekend i have been looking forward to this one as i am getting to grips with the meatrkit now.
there is no trackday on the friday according to minimoto club so its saturday morning. unless we can go down friday night.
who else is going to be there.?

i have been looking forward to this weekend fone fab racing earlier asked them to bring some wets down for me... and they only have the old profile wide wets in which is not very good as i have heard they turn much slower.
anyone got a set of wets i can buy off them...
i think ill need them..

well what can i say, it was prob the worst weekend i have had and i hope its the worst ill ever have.
saturday i felt like i was going well i knocked another 2 seconds off my time until i crashed.it was the first time i had come off on the metrakit, i was fine, i broke a footpeg and cracked my seat in 2 places but other than that i was fine. This settled my nerves slightly as i now knew what crashing a big bike was like so i knew what to expect so i felt more relaxed and realised its not much worse than falling off a minimoto..
so i got back up to speed not long after that, and other than that i enjoyed saturday.
sunday was looking forward to to riding in the wet, just before we got there we went to draw money from the cash pont and my dad realises he doesnt have the card.... NO!!!!! oh well slicks it was
i got there went out first session. i was crapping myself until i got into a steady pace and realised it was ok..... i then after a few laps got onto the straight, as i got to the bottom hairpin i grabbed the brake and before the bike even slowed i hit the deck.. i am not to sure what happend i just lost the front. the bike hit the ground and i was sliding for about 10-15 metres at this point i thought the bike that was behind me was gna run me over but luckily he missed me... this was the worst crash i have ever had lol... again i was fine....
with my dad only having 30 pound on him, we had to make do with wat ever tyres we could get for that price.. luckily i managed to get some intermediats off one of the guys, and after missing the first few laps of the first race because we couldnt get the back tyre on i felt more confident. but the bike was still sliding around alot and i was going dead slow. , i nearly lost it again on the front in the same spot as i did earlier that morning.
the second race again i did not feal confident and the bike was sliding around alot.
the third race was the best as there wasnt much sliding. but was still 7 seconds off my best time in the dry.
ohh well it was a good weekend anway and it was good to see all the welsh guys again as i havnt seen some of u for a while and it wwas a good laugh taking the p*** out of james. ......
well done to everybody who raced. and i look forward to hopefully seeing some of you at the presentation.

Well what a great end to the year 4 straight wins, was well happy with myself coming home, if only i was like this at the start of the year well done to all the welsh boys some good racing out there! Think sweets came away with a 1st well done, mark a 3rd on the metrikit thats what we all like to see . sorry scott and ash didnt see your races must have been close to my running order so not sure. Not even going to mention about jazz should have stayed in the warm mate lol only joking mate just need practice.

As for the presentation, CANT WAIT going to ge wrecked hahahahaha. Nice to see everyone without the bikes have a drink together talk about the year and the plans for the future!

Probably the best results so far for both James and Sweets, sorted!!

I think they screwed up, somehow gave me a third in the 4.2/aircooled combined.
Proddy was a disaster, couldn't get the clutch right. Need to loose the red springs, they just prevent the shoes engaging properly.
Jazz, I did the same as you at the end of the straight, (my pants are still in the wash now!) Some how managed to get feet down but also opened the throttle back up again panicking Doh!!!

The whole straight is the old slippy stuff and doesn't turn black until about 15M before the final bend. If you brake too hard to early your on the slippy part of the track!

Wish I had a video of sweets' burn out after the last race that was funny!!
