Yeah, was an awesome day, but again, annoyed about the way some of the people in charge were acting (Not mensioning names)... and the crash I had earlier that day, I ended up breaking my wrist ohmy.gif So now I'm in plastercast up to my elbow tongue.gif

goodfellowracer- 10-15-2007

Thanks All for a good day. It was a first for us so hope we kept out the way most of the time!
Have read the other thread through and hope the lads are OK. Have to agree with some of the points about the lack of marshals but those who were there had flags out for loads of incidents throughout the morning I just guess that they lacked concentration towards the end because there were so few of them. To say the injured riders were in danger from those on track is a little exaggerated as everyone I saw, stopped to see if they were OK.
I have to agree about Lynn? and suggest that she stay away for these days as there is obviously attitude. She had a winge whilst registering due to riding the bikes around the buiding to the track at the start and refused to offer answers to any questions.
I had never been before and received no briefing at all, (I know the flags from motoGP) so announce them half way through the day seemed like an afterthought. As for protocol don't they need to tell people what it is before moaning about it being broken.
I personally got fed up with pushing the bikes around the building and couldn't see why the gate from the car park couldn't be used.
I enjoyed the track, so hope that there is a promise to genuinely improve the organisation (I didn't see Paulo on the day but I wouldn't recognise him anyway).
For me it is the nearest circuit and hope it can be used again.
I also cannot believe the event was nearly cancelled, with the eventual turn out I would have said to cancel would have been bad business sense.
Cheers Steve (on too small a Polini 710)

not really exagerated mate cause if someone doesnt see the flag or the flag dont go up then all you nned is someone flyin round a corner 70mph and it will hurt

alot

Titch- 10-16-2007
Scotty. The only reason everybody stopped to help is because we could see he was hurt... no flags went out what so ever and no marshall attempted to help!

Greg #12- 10-16-2007
Just like to note that its my mother posting on Titch's account as she forgot to log on hers so people don't get confused

But Scotty, it was not at all exagerated to say that the people that crashed were at danger. Believe me, you don't realise how easy acciedents can happen like that... all it would of taken is maybe abit of a oil or petrol spill from the crash and a rider unaware that theres been a acciedent because no flags are waved and you've got yourself a highly dangerous situation.

So by saying ''To say the injured riders were in danger from those on track is a little exaggerated as everyone I saw, stopped to see if they were OK.'' is way off sorry mate. I've been racing 3 years now and I know how easy these things can happen and I'm sure people will argee with me.

Greg

Titch- 10-16-2007
no its me that said that greg lol

Titch- 10-16-2007
and no disrespect scotty. just trying to get the point across wink.gif
